Re-establish Relationship with the Green World and Learn Ancient Skills of Plant Identification, Wild Harvesting and Medicine Making.

This 3-part hands-on, immersive experience in the beautiful and botanically diverse Front Range will focus on learning plant identification skills, the edibility and medicinal properties of local plants, wild harvesting ethics and techniques, and making medicine. Participants will also have opportunities to explore and rekindle their relationship to the more-than-human-world by practicing stillness, sensing and deep listening, with the intention to foster a recognition of the wider bonds of our belonging and an ethic of care for our community.

Class Dates are on Thursdays, from 8:30am-12pm

  • June 10th

  • July 1st

  • July 29th

*Only serious, self-motivated individuals, please.*

*Participants responsible for purchasing their own medicine making supplies (i.e., alcohol, jars, labels)

Participants will get the most out of class if they are committed to:

  1. Purchasing one book and an eye loupe prior to the first class

  2. Spend a minimum of 3 hours in-between class meeting times to practice skills learned in the previous class

  3. Attend the entirety of all three classes

Refunds given if cancellations occur more than 2 weeks in advance of the the first class; within two weeks fo the first class, refunds not available.
