A Celebration and Revitalization of our Ancestral Relationship with Plants
Do you yearn for deeper and more intimate connection with the beautiful Earth Mother and our generous green allies, the plants and trees?
Do you aspire to cultivate a more respectful and reciprocal relationship with all BEings?
Do you want to acquire ancient, practical and useful skills and knowledge that foster resilience, vitality and physical, emotional and spiritual well-being, including plant identification and making plant remedies?
If you answered YES! To the above questions, this 2-part workshop is for you!
The plants are one of our oldest and dearest allies, providing so much to so many: food, medicine, shelter, warmth, companionship, beauty and great teachings. Rekindling and nourishing our relationship with plants and the other-than-human world is a crucial component in cultivating resilience and reawakening the truth of our interconnectedness and interdependence with the world in which we are embedded. By slowing down, with awareness, humbleness and intention, we can realign with our innate human capacity for caring, cooperation and healing, prerequisites for manifesting the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.
This 2-part hands-on, outdoor workshop will foster:
Full engagement of your animal senses, and nourishment to your mind, body and spirit
A renewed sense of connection to and love for the living, breathing world
The building/sculpting of a solid foundation for optimizing health and vitality through a reacquaintance with ancient and holistic ways of knowing, being, healing and preparing therapeutically effective botanical medicines.
Participants will acquire knowledge and skills in:
Mindfulness, keen observation and deep listening
Plant identification and familiarization with common plant families
Medicinal uses and edibility of the plants, trees and shrubs we encounter
